Dr. Janet P. Au, M.D., FCCP, FACP

Internist / Pulmonologist

Dr Janet Au is the Clinical Professor of Medicine of the UCLA-San Fernando Valley Program at the Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. Dr Au holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of East, Manila. She has vast experience in the field of internal medicine specializing in the field of pulmonary and critical care medicine. Dr Au is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.       

                                             

Dr. Albert Chan, M.D., FACC             
Cardiologist

 Dr. Albert Chan graduated from New York University School of Medicine in 1984. He went through Internal Medicine and Cardiology training in University Hospital at Stony Brook, New York and University of PennsylvaniaPresbyterian Medical Center. He is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology. Before he moved to Singapore in 1997, he was the visiting assistant professor in Medicine at Columbia University, New York. While in Singapore, he has been the Director of Non-invasive Cardiology Laboratory, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, the Cardiology consultant at the American International Clinic and the Medical Director at the Excellence Healthcare, Singapore. Dr. Chan has more than 20 years of clinical medicine experience. He is also fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese                         

                                                            

Dr. Peter Ho, M.D.FACS, FRCS(C)             
Medical Director /Urologist

A graduate of McGill University, Montreal with Bachelor of Science (1st Class Honours in Biophysics) and New York University School of Medicine in New York with Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Ho completed his two years of General Surgery training at University of California at Los Angeles and then three years of Urology training at University of California at San Diego. He is US Board Certified in Urology. After twenty-two years of Urology practice in Canada and USA, he is now Chief of Urology at the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and American College of Surgeons. Dr. Ho is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

                                                   

 

Dr. Steven Hsieh

Breast Surgeon

 

Dr Steven Hsieh graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the Taipei Medical University in Taiwan and Doctor of Medicine degree from the Tianjin Medical University in China.  He completed his internship at the Tianjin Medical University General Hospital and surgical residency at Tianjin Medical University Cancer Hospital.  Dr Hsieh has a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University, USA, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Oncology from Tianjin Medical University.  He is currently the consultant surgeon with the Breast Cancer Center at Tianjin Medical University Cancer Hospital.
Dr Hsieh has extensive experience in providing evaluation and treatment of breast diseases including breast lumps, abnormal mammogram, and breast biopsies.

                                             

Dr. Peter King, M.D., FACP, FACC, FCCP, FICA             
Cardiologist

A graduate of Fordham University, New York with Bachelor of Science and Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia with Doctor of Medicine, Dr. King completed his Medical Internship at Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at University of California at Los Angeles and Veterans Administration Medical Center, Sepulveda, California. Dr King is US Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is Director of Hong Kong Heart Center, Adventist Hospital. Dr King is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, American College of Chest Physicians and International College of Angiology.
Dr. King is fluent in English, Mandarin, Shanghainese and Cantonese.

                                             

Dr. Sarah Last, M.B.,Ch.B, MRCGP, MRCP                                                

General Practitioner

 

Dr. Sarah Last has been practising as a medical doctor for more than eight years. Dr. Last completed her medical training in Leeds University and also has memberships with Royal College of Physicians and Royal College of General Practitioners. She has diplomas in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and Faculty of Family Planning and an Intrauterine Device Fitting Certificate. For the past year, she has been actively providing care to patients at a busy physician group as a General Practitioner in West Sussex, United Kingdom.

 

                                              

Dr. Chun Ho Lau, M.B., M.Sc., M.D., FRCS, CCFA, CCT (UK)

Consultation Ophthalmologist

 

With more than 20 years clinical experience, Prof. Lau is a well-trained and qualified UK specialist in Ophthalmology (Eye) and obtained his Master degree and Doctor of Medicine in Ophthalmology from Bristol University. Prof. Lau had received comprehensive general as well as sub-specialty clinical and surgical training covering all aspects of ophthalmology at Bristol Eye Hospital, Oxford Eye Hospital, Addenbrooke’s Hospital of Cambridge, West of England Eye Unit, and the world renown Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. After completing the Specialist Registrar and Fellowships training at Moorfields, Prof. Lau obtained further training at the world famous Schepens Eye Research Institute and Department of Ophthalmology of Harvard Medical School. In addition, Prof. Lau has extensive sub-specialty experience in Retina, Cataract, Cornea and External diseases, and Ocular inflammatory diseases. Prof. Lau speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

 

                                             

Dr. Gary K.Mo, M.D., FACC               
Cardiologist

A graduate of Illinois State University with Bachelor of Science and Northwestern University Medical School with Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Mo finished his Internship & Residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiogy Fellowship at UCLA (University of California at Los Angeles). He was board-certified and became Diplomats of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Subspecialty Board of Cardiovascular Disease. He was also elected Fellow of American College of Cardiology (FACC). Dr. Mo was the chairman of the Department of Medicine of Pleasant Valley Hospital in late 1980s. He was clinical instructor of Medicine of UCLA-Valley program in 1980s. Dr. Mo has extensive experience in Cardiac Catherization as well as noninvasive Cardiac aspects such as stress-echo etc. Dr. Mo speaks English, Cantonese and some Mandarin.

                                               

 

Dr. Marcia Nelson, M.D., M.S., DABIM       
Internist

 

Dr. Marcia Nelson completed her medical school with the Pennsylvania State University in 1995 and proceeded for her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Michigan. In 1998, she was a lecturer with Ann Arbor VA Medical Hospital at Michigan. She arrived in Shanghai in 1999 and had steadfastly continued with her challenging work as a physician. Dr Nelson is very well-liked by her patients in Shanghai. She is affiliated with the American College of Physicians.
