GHC Internal Medicine Physicians:
Dr. Marcia Nelson, M.D., completed her medical school with the Pennsylvania State University in 1995 and proceeded for her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Michigan. In 1998, she was a lecturer with Ann Arbor VA Medical Hospital at Michigan. She arrived in Shanghai in 1999 and had steadfastly continued with her challenging work as a physician. Dr Nelson is very well-liked by her patients in Shanghai. She is affiliated with the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Isamu Sugawara, M.D., PhD, He has extensive experience in the treatment of internal medicine disease especially diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipoidemia and the metabolic syndrome. He also specializes in Respiratory Medicine with experiences in treating diseases such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), tuberculosis (TB), asthma, and Lung Cancer. Dr. Sugawara is a Visiting Professor in Pulmononary Medicine at Shanghai Fu Dan University.
