There are health risks associated with travel, and some of them may be life-threatening. You can prevent or reduce many of them.
The Travel Medicine Services at GHC provide complete pre-travel medical evaluations, including general and destination-specific immunizations. We also provide care for routine, corporate, short-term and long-term travel. Our medical professionals provide itinerary-specific consultations, education on Avian Flu, Dengue Fever, Malaria and Traveler’s Diarrhea as well as vaccines including:

If you have travel plans, it is best to be seen eight weeks prior to departure to arrange any necessary vaccinations. We can also assist with:
- Full travel medicals, visa application health checks and fitness to travel certificates
- Medical risk assessment and advice on illness prevention including insect-borne disease
- Medical review of illnesses contracted while traveling or if symptoms appear on your return
